In a unique atmosphere, people from various backgrounds come together, get to know each other and develop early business drafts to a level, where they can be presented to investors. Participants either pitch their own business idea, or help a presenter develop their project. The main objective is to form interdisciplinary teams and to push the best ventures to the next level. We are hosting the pre pitch day on the 14th of June 2012 for all those who want to present their project. At the pre pitch day all presenters receive feedback on their idea and their presentation technique. These steps make it easier for us to handpick the lucky bastards who are going to pitch at the Live Event.

How it's done

This year we are going to heavily emphasize the lean business principle, which is based on customer-driven product development. That’s why the teams will be asked to survey the possible users to get instant feedback. During the development process the groups will receive guidance by coaches, business angels and former start-up entrepreneurs. The highlight of the weekend is the final presentation in front of a panel of experts, who will provide expertise feedback. On top of that, Startup Live offers networking
